Welcome to the Culture League, Miami's premier adult basketball league! Our league strives to bring the best basketball experience to our members, and we pride ourselves on offering a safe and inclusive environment for all. We believe that basketball is not only a sport, but also a cultural expression that brings people together, fosters communication and promotes healthy competition. 
 

We value good sportsmanship and conduct, and as such, we have a strict code of conduct for all our members. We do not tolerate any form of verbal or physical abuse, and we strongly enforce a no-fighting policy. Physical altercations of any kind will result in immediate expulsion from the league, as we believe safety is paramount.
 

Each team will play 7 regular season games, plus playoffs (if your team makes it.) The roster you submit now will be your final roster. If a player on the roster does NOT play at least 1 regular season game, then they are NOT eligible for playoffs. Game jerseys will be provided for you each game, if you wish to have your own team uniform we ask that everyone wears the same color. 
 

Games will be two 20min half's, running clock. While last two minutes of the half's are stop clock. There will be two referees for every game. Player Stats will be recorded each game, along with social media coverage. 


 

Winning team will be awarded the Culture League Trophy and FREE entry into the following season!

Waiver and Release of Liability Form

 

I, The Applicant, hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

 

 

1. Assumption of Risk: I understand that participating in any physical activity, including basketball, involves certain 

inherent risks and dangers. I voluntarily assume all risks 

associated with my participation in The Culture League, 

including but not limited to, the risk of injury, illness, or even death.

 

 

 

2. Medical Condition: I certify that I am physically fit and 

have no known medical conditions that would prevent me 

from participating in The Culture League. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a healthcare 

professional before engaging in any physical activity if I 

have any concerns about my health or fitness level.

 

 

 

3. Release and Waiver: In consideration of being allowed to participate in The Culture League, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless The Culture League, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or to any property belonging to me, whether caused by the negligence of 

The Culture league or otherwise.

 

 

 

4. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Culture League, its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, 

demands, actions, or causes of action brought against 

them by 

any third party arising out of or related to my participation 

in The Culture League.

 

 

 

5. Photographic Release: I grant The Culture League the 

right to take photographs and/or videos of me during my 

participation in The Culture League. I understand that 

these photographs and/or videos may be used for 

promotional purposes, including but not limited to, social media, 

websites, and print materials.

 

 

 

6. Governing Law: This waiver and release of liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Florida. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or related to this waiver and release of liability shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Florida.
